Quantum Physics & The World We Live In

How our social world view is antiquated and in misalignment with science, and what we can do to change it…

Light, made of photons, travels through space as a duality of electromagnetic waves (energy) and particles (matter). As Einstein said, “Matter is energy. Energy is light. We are all light beings.”

Think of light in the wave-energy form as “potential”, or that which contains all possibilities inside of it. Now consider light in the form of matter as “potential defined”, like all possibilities narrowing down to a single option and manifesting as that option. This is the heart of Quantum Mechanics. Now consider its duality. The Uncertainty Principle tells us that even when light manifests as matter it still retains its wave form, so it could be said that even though matter has become one of innumerable possibilities, it still retains all possibilities hidden within its manifest self. Furthermore, this potential, at the intersection of infinite possibility (wave) and selection (matter), has infinite energy known as zero-point energy density. Take this one step further. The Dual-Slit Experiment has shown us that light changes from a wave (energy) to a particle (matter) only if, and when, we observe it. We are indeed micro-cosmically inseparable from anything we observe. This can be viewed as our hidden potential in matter interacting with energy to create more matter. It’s a self-God process that triggers eternal propagation, like it or not.

Now if you think this is all, hold on just a minute…now consider the process works retroactively as proven by the Delayed Choice Experiment, whereby the present literally changes the past. Yes, by observing energy now, thus creating matter, it changes the historical structure of energy into to that of matter, even if it were not in the form of matter previously. When our “potential defined” (matter) observes “potential” (energy) it literally defines its past, present and future. If this isn’t enough to make your atoms spin, the EPR Paradox shows us that particles, once in contact with one another, instantly communicate what has happened to the other particle regardless of distance, contrary to Einstein’s own Special Theory of Relativity, which says no information can travel faster than the speed of light. Unless Einstein was wrong, there must be an inherent oneness between the particles of matter (like when they were in wave form prior to being observed), possibly as described in David Bohm’s Holomovement Theory.

Why particles retain their wave-like properties such that all possibilities exist at the same time, even when narrowed to a single choice via observation, and why particles retroactively change their past wave-state once observed, may best be explained through Hugh Everett III’s Many-Worlds Interpretation (MWI) , now widely defended by a large percentage of leading physicists. Accordingly, it is quite possible that our observation-created reality merely makes us conscious of but one of many super-positioned realities that are occurring simultaneously. Or it can be said that the potential is narrowed down to a single choice in one dimension while in another dimension it is narrowed down to alternate choice and so on, until all potential is fulfilled, hence it is “all that is”, so-to-speak. We are in fact light and energy; we are the creative force that converts infinite possibilities directly into reality. We live in, and are inseparable from, this participatory reality, and likewise are inseparable from each other.

So what does this all mean? To answer this properly we must extend these scientific views of reality into the social realm, for both are conjoined by this fundamentally new understanding of reality. We now have a moral and scientific responsibility to challenge our governing social doctrines and ask why it is that our way of living continues to adhere to an outdated scientific view of the world. In short, we must ask ourselves; why are we acting like a cancer within this unified body we share? Individualism, not in itself but in its isolated relation to others, does not exist, as much as we would like it to. From oppression to murderous wars to the extreme inequities between wealth and poverty, we value the advancement of self at the expense of others, consequently fighting for enslavement under a banner of freedom in a war that is ultimately against ourselves. Unrestrained greed in a system of competitiveness over cooperativeness has led us to a concentration of wealth, and concentration of wealth to a concentration of power, and concentration of power to a displacement of democracy. Property, the gain of one at the expense of another, is king.

The land that gives us our food, the quality of the air that we breath, the medicines that aid our illness, the homes that give us shelter, the time in which we work and the labor in which we exert, is all owned, and by each with an aim to exploit our disadvantaged position for profit. Yet this is not enough, for we must continue to feed our greed through our exportation of oppression and violence around the globe. My friends, we are them and they are us, and we have sold ourselves so that we can own ourselves. Yet, we insist on following such antiquated systems as capitalism, systems that are in diametric opposition to our most advanced scientific descriptions of reality and the world in which we create and share. The unrestrained freedom to acquire wealth and property at the expense of another’s freedom, the forfeiture of our shared reality and its planetary manifestations behind which exists complete oneness in its implicate order, is unconscionable and must be stopped. It is time for a new system that advances with and not against our scientific discoveries. It is time for a model that engenders equality without authority, one that empowers humankind over unkind.

So in answer to “what does this mean?” It means we are ONE; so…let’s try to act like it.
